He Also
And Abel, he also
brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and
to his offering:

And God made two
- great lights;
the greater
light to rule the day, - and the lesser light to rule
the night:
he made the
stars also.
**
So God created man
in his own image, in the image of God - created he him;
male and female created he
them.
**
And God set
them in the firmament
of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
And to rule over
the day - and over the night,
- and to divide
the light - from the darkness:
and God saw - that it was good.
And the evening - and the morning were the fourth day.

And the
king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me
the persons,
and take the goods to thyself.
And Abram said
to the king of Sodom, I have lift up
mine hand unto the Lord,
the most high God, the possessor
of heaven and earth,
*****
And the Lord said unto Abram, - after that Lot was separated
from him, - Lift up now thine eyes, - and look from the place where - thou art- northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
***
And he
said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I
was afraid, because
I was naked; and I hid
myself.
And he
said, Who told thee
- that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree,
whereof I commanded thee
- that thou shouldest not eat?
***
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it,
and to thy seed for ever.
And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed
- also be numbered.
*****
That I will not take from
- a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing - that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
*****
And to Seth,
to him also there was born a son; and he
called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.
*****
Save only that which the
young men have eaten, and the portion of the men
which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
After these things the
word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision,
saying,
Fear not, Abram: I am thy
shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
