And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Noah was a just man and perfect in his
generations, and Noah walked with God.

The children of Shem; . . . and Aram.
And the children of Aram; Uz,
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.. . . ; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
And Noah awoke from his wine, and
knew what his younger son had done unto him
After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day. And Job spake, and said,
, . .Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck? For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept:
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah
opened the window of the ark which he had made: And
he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until
the waters were dried up from off the earth.

And Enoch walked with God:

and he was not;

for God took him.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou?

Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it
upon both their shoulders,

covered the nakedness of their father;
Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the
brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in
his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

It came to pass

And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of
the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam
to see what he would call them:

and whatsoever Adam called every living
creature, that was the name thereof.

For they intended evil against thee: they
imagined a mischievous device, which they
are not able to perform.

Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back,
when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon

And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
For then will I turn to the people a
pure language,
that they may all call
upon the name of the Lord
, to serve
him with one consent.
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a
tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let
us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad
upon the face of the whole earth.
So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Therefore the Lord God sent him forth
from the garden of Eden, to till the
ground from whence he was taken.
And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou?

The number of days lived does refer to the life of Noah, rather the length of time his government stood in perfection.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. . . .

He is not Noah

And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.

The Son

Japheth

Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

Ham

Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he. The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.

And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. For while they be folden together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry.

And a river went out of Eden to water the garden;

and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the
Herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after
his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

The covenants

This is the token of the covenant

And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

This is the token of the covenant


And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the
people of the land, even to the children of Heth.

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

This is the token of the covenant

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men
are created equal, that they are endowed by their
Creator
with certain unalienable Rights, that among
these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

This is the token of the covenant

And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and
every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had
not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not
a man to till the ground.


And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare
Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.

And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred
and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt

not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
