- Apil-Sin
King of Ethiopia conqueror of Egypt husband of
Yea God,
mother of Again wife of Adam father to Seth.
for
now
I know
**
And he said,
I am.
And he said,
Bring it near to me, . . .
***
And God
said
moreover unto Moses,
Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,
The Lord God of your fathers,
the God ISamuelyea of Abraham,
the God ISamuelAllah of Isaac,
and the God
ISamuelyeaOnopia
of Jacob,
hath sent me unto you:
this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
***
and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar,
to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savIour unto the Lord:
**
And the other lamb thou shalt offer - at even,
***
Thus did Noah;
according to all that God commanded him,
so did he.
**
And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him.
***
and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning,
and according to the drink offering thereof,
for a sweet savour,
an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
This shall be a continual burnt offering - throughout your generations - at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord:
where
ISamuelYeaonamallahopia
will meet you,
to speak there unto thee.
And there ISamuelAllah will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.
**
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
and all flesh shall see it together:
for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
The voice said,
Cry.
And he said,
What shall I cry?
All flesh is grass,
and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
The grass withereth,
the flower fadeth:
because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it:
surely the people is grass.
The grass withereth,
the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
***
And if thou offer a - meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the Lord,
**
And to every beast of the earth,
and to every fowl of the air,
and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
wherein there is life,
I have given every green herb for meat:
and it was so.
***
thou shalt offer for the - meat offering - of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire,
even corn beaten out of full ears.
***
And he brought
him forth
abroad,
and said,
Look now
toward heaven,
and tell the stars,
if thou be able to number them:
and he said unto him,
So shall thy seed be.
***
. . . and I will eat of my son's venison,
that my soul may bless thee.
(Sons of Shem)
And he brought - it near to him,
(Blessed)
and he did eat:
(Daughters of Shem)
and he brought him wine,
(Sanctified)
and he drank.
**
And he drank of the wine, and was drunken;
and he was uncovered within his tent. . .
*
. . . And he said,
Cursed be Canaan;
a servant of servants shall he be unto - his brethren.
***
and he brought him wine, and he drank.
And his father Isaac said unto him,
Come near now,
and kiss me,
my son.
. .
***
The song of songs,
which is Solomon's.
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth:
for thy love is better than wine.
Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth,
therefore do the virgins love thee.
Draw me,
we will run - after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers:
we will be glad and rejoice in thee,
we will remember thy love more than wine:
the upright love thee.
I am black,
but comely,
O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar,
as the curtains of Solomon.
Look not upon me,
because I am black,
because the sun hath looked upon me:
my mother's children were angry with me;
they made me the keeper of the vineyards;
but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
Tell me,
O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest,
where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon:
***
Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves:
every one loveth gifts,
and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
***
for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?
***
Come near now,
and kiss me,
my son.
And he came near,
and kissed him:
and he smelled the smell of his raiment,
and blessed him,
and said,
See,
the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the Lord hath blessed:
Therefore God - give thee of the dew of heaven,
and the fatness of the earth,
and plenty of corn - and wine:
Let people serve thee,
and nations bow down to thee:
be lord over thy brethren,
and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee:
cursed be every one - that curseth thee,
and blessed be he that blesseth thee.
****
And the Lord shall
scatter you
among the nations,
and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead you.
And there - ye shall serve gods,
the work of men's hands, wood and stone,
which neither see,
nor hear,
nor eat,
nor smell.
But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him,
if thou seek him with all thy heart
and with all thy soul.
When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee,
even in the latter days,
if thou turn to the Lord thy God ISamuelYea,
and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
(For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;)
he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee,
nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
For ask now of the days that are past,
which were before thee, since the day - that God created man upon the earth,
and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other,
whether there hath been any such thing - as this great thing is,
or hath been heard like it?
***
And he said,
I am God,
the God of thy father:
fear not to - go down - into Egypt; for I will - there - make of thee a great nation:
I will - go down with thee into Egypt;
and I will also surely bring thee - up again:
and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
And Jacob rose up - from Beersheba: and the sons of Israel - carried Jacob - their father,
and their little ones,
and their wives,
in the wagons - which Pharaoh had sent to - carry him.
