There a beast this way coming VIII

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Noah was a just man and perfect in his
generations, and Noah walked with God.

The children of Shem; . . . and Aram.
And the children of Aram; Uz,
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.. . . ; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
And Noah awoke from his wine, and
knew what his younger son had done unto him
After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day. And Job spake, and said,
, . .Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck? For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept:
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah
opened the window of the ark which he had made: And
he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until
the waters were dried up from off the earth.

And Enoch walked with God:

and he was not;

for God took him.
before the Lord.
And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou?

Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it
upon both their shoulders,
and went backward, and
covered the nakedness of their father;
Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the
brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in
his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

It came to pass

And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of
the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam
to see what he would call them:

and whatsoever Adam called every living
creature, that was the name thereof.

Job
so that this man was the greatest
of all the men of the east.

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began
to be a mighty one in the earth.
And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
And God made the firmament, and divided
the waters which were under the firmament
from the waters which were above the firmament:

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the
earth,
and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold
the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

And Melchizedek king of Salem . . . .: and
he was the priest of the most high God.
And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
For they intended evil against thee: they
imagined a mischievous device, which they
are not able to perform.

Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back,
when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon
thy strings against the face of them.
And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
For then will I turn to the people a
pure language,
that they may all call
upon the name of the Lord
, to serve
him with one consent.
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a
tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let
us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad
upon the face of the whole earth.
So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Therefore the Lord God sent him forth
from the garden of Eden, to till the
ground from whence he was taken.
And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou?
And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the
ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth:
These are the three sons of Noah: and of them
was the whole earth overspread.
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

I will stop here for now

Samuel
