Sermon on the Mountain XXIX

More than raiment

O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast - cast all my sins behind thy back.
For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope - for thy truth. . . .

*****
. . .Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them - be ashamed which transgress without cause. . . .
*****
And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which - thou brak-est.
And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
And - no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
*****
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me - thy paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
*****
The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth. . . .
*****
And Adah bare Jabal: . . . And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
*****
. . . The Lord was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the Lord.

Is not the life - more than meat,

And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they - saw God, and did eat and drink.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou may-est teach them.

and the body than raiment?
