Now the Host

And Adam

called his wife's name Eve;

because

she

was the mother of all living.

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when

they

were created,

in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,

And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them:

and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth,

and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Then said

he,

What have they seen in thine house?

And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen:

there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

And God called the light Day,

and the darkness he called Night.

And the evening

and the morning were the first day.

And God made the firmament,

and divided the waters which were under the firmament - from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

And to rule over the day - and over the night,

and to divide the light from the darkness:

Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord of hosts:

Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.

Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen:

a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

  It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.

He delivereth me from mine enemies:

yea,

thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me:

thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

Therefore will I give thanks unto thee,

O Lord,

among the heathen,

and sing praises unto thy name.

Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed,

to David,

and

to

his seed

IMMANUEL

for evermore.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

In

them hath he set a tabernacle

for the sun,

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it:

and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the so God rule:

the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart:

the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever:

the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

More to be desired are they than gold,

yea,

than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Moreover by them is thy servant warned:

and in keeping of them there is great reward.

And of thy sons that shall

issue

from thee,

which thou shalt beget,

shall they take away;

and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken.

He said moreover,

For there shall be peace and truth in my days.

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened

her mouth

to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;

Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished,

she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

she took of the fruit thereof,

and did eat,

and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And the man said,

The woman whom thou gavest to be with me,

she gave me of the tree,

and I did eat.

that her inequity is pardoned:

for she

hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness,

Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low:

and the crooked shall be made straight,

and the rough places plain:

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed,

and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord ISamuelyeaON hath spoken it.
