and
is found.
No
man
that hath a blemish of the seed
of Aaron
the
priest
shall come nigh to
offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire:
he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
He shall eat the bread
of his God, both of the most holy, and
of the holy.
Only
he shall not go in unto the veil,
nor come nigh unto the
altar,
because
he hath a blemish;
that he profane not my sanctuaries:
for I the Lord do sanctify them.
**
Cut
ye not off the
tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
But
thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they
approach
unto the most holy things: Aaron and his
sons shall go in, and
appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
But they shall not go in to see
when
the holy things are covered, lest they die.
*****
and
would not go in:
*****
for therefore
came they under the
shadow of my roof.
*
Joshua
therefore came
unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night.
*
Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the
king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before
the Lord;
*
Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I
have found thee.
***
Yea,
they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear
the law,
and the words
which
the Lord of hosts hath sent in his
spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord
of hosts.
Therefore
it
is come to pass,
that as he cried, and they would not hear; so
they cried,
and I would not hear,
saith the Lord of hosts:
*****
therefore
came his father
out,
and intreated him.
And
he answering
said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve
thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy
commandment:
and yet thou never gavest
me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
*****
and
man became a living soul.
*
Adam called
every living creature, that was the
name thereof.
*
And Adam called
his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother
of all living.
*
When Judah saw
her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.
*****
But as soon as this - thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots,
thou hast - killed - for him the fatted calf.
*****
And
Abram said, Behold,
to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
And,
behold, the word of the Lord
came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir;
but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels
shall be thine heir.
*
And
God said, Sarah thy
wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my
covenant with him for an everlasting
covenant, and with his seed
- after
him.
*****
And
he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me,
and all that I have - is thine. It was meet that we should make merry,. . .
***
And the Lord
said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother?
And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
***
It was meet that we should make merry,
and be glad: for this thy
brother .
. .
*
And
Adam knew
his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
And
to Seth,
to him also there
was
born a son; and he
called
his name Enos: then began men
to call upon the name of the Lord.
***
.
. . was dead,
and is alive again;
and was lost, and is
found.
