Sermon on the Mountain XL

Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.
They sacrificed unto devils, - not to God; - to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
Of the Rock that begat thee - thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
***
Then was RAheme led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
***
From that time RAheme began to prTeach, and to say,
Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
And RAheme, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called, and his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
***
And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day:
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God - took him.
***
Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
***
And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed - also be numbered.
Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
***
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
***
And I will make my covenant between - me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
***
And he saith unto them, - Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Or if - he ask a fish, will - he give him a serpent?
If ye then, being evil, - know how to give good gifts unto your children, - how much more shall your Father which is in heaven - give good things to them that ask him?
