Two sons XI

 fell on his neck

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
***
And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field;
upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat - all the days of thy life:
  ***
And a river - went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence - it was parted, and became - into four heads.
And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth:
and Ham is the father of Canaan.

It is not good  - that the man should be alone; I will make him - an - help meet for him.

***
And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives - with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had - an handmaid, an - Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.
**
And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed - after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.
And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the He-brews' children.

But when he was yet a great way off, - - his father saw him, and had compassion,

And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her - in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:

Among the smooth stones of the stream - is thy portion; they,
they are thy lot: even to them hast thou - poured a drink offering, - thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither went-est thou up to offer sacrifice.

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, - sin lieth at the door.

Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to an-other than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst - their bed where thou saw-est it.

And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:
And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Two sons X

. . . for the Lord God had not caused - it to rain up-on the earth, - and there was - not a man to till the ground.
**
. . . and  darkness was upon the - - face of the deep.

And the Lord God - caused a deep  - sleep to fall upon Adam,
and he slept:
**
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree - yielding fruit after -  his kind,
**
and he - took one of his ribs,
**
For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
**
and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
**
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;
**
It is not good  - that the man should be alone; I will make him - an - help meet for him.
**
And the rib, which the Lord God had taken - from man, made he - a work-man, and brought her unto the man.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones,
and flesh - of my flesh:
she shall be called Woman,

And they were both naked, the man - and his wife, and were not ashamed.

And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father,
and told his two - brethren without. . .

And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of - their father; and their faces were backward,

and they - -  - saw not - their father's nakedness.

And the Lord God - caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam,
and he slept:

And he arose, and came to his father.

And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.

And Isaac spake unto Abraham - his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son.

But when he was yet a great way off, - - his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
