Neo-slavery III

Law

Now the serpent was more subtil than any - beast of the field - which the Lord God had made.

He

And he said unto the woman,
The Law
Yea,
hath God said,
Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
***
This commandment leaves no point of discussion but is to be followed to the letter.
‘Ye shall not’ should end all conversation, however what fruit grows from the tree?

‘good for food,’ i.e, brings all people into subjection lead by those believed to be ordained by god, by virture of garments.

2ndly   ‘pleasant to the eyes,’ the ceremonies  and pageantry bringing the heavens down to the ground.
‘ and a tree to be desired to make one wise . . .
***
And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the Lord shall be consumed.
For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired,
and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.
***
Power
The most desired of all things, power which brings with certain death. Mortal men, possessing godly authority.
***
And the workman said unto the serpent,
We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
Again
God hath said,
Ye shall not eat of it,
neither shall ye touch it,
lest ye die.
Now the Wise
And the serpent said unto the woman,
Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,
then your eyes shall be opened,
and ye shall be as gods, knowing good
and evil.
**
Whoop dar it is!
***
And God said,
Let there be light:
and there was light.
And God saw the light,
that it was good:
and God divided the light from the darkness.
***
And God saw that the

wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Ye shall surely die
***
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
***
And God spake all these words, saying,
I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me. . . .
. . . Honour thy father and thy mother:
that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
***
For God commanded,
saying,
Honour thy father and mother:
and,
He that curseth father or mother,
let him die the death.
But ye say,
Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother,
It is a gift,
***
O house of Jacob,
come ye,
and let us walk in the light of the Lord.
Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east,
and are soothsayers like the Philistines,
and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
Their land also is full of silver and gold,
neither is there any end of their treasures;
their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:
Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands,
that which their own fingers have made:
And the mean man boweth down,
and the great man humbleth himself:
therefore forgive them not.
Enter into the rock,
and hide thee in the dust,
for fear of the Lord,
and for the glory of his majesty.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled,
and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord ISamuelyeao alone shall be exalted in that day.
***
by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
And honour not his father or his mother,
he shall be free.
Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Ye hypocrites,
well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth,
and honoureth me with their lips;
but their heart is far from me.
But in vain they do worship me,
teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

ISamuelyeaO
