The Wicked I

The Living

And Adam called - his wife's name Eve; - because-  she was the mother of all living.

Ought ye not to know that the Lord God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David - for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
**
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed - after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, - after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
**
And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, - after - their kind, and every winged fowl - after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
*****
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only d-evil continually.
*****

Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down - before thee.
**
And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse - among the heathen, O house of Judah, - and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.
For thus saith the Lord of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord of hosts, and I repented not:
Soagain-  have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
And let none of you imagine d-evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.
**
And it - repented - the Lord that he had made man on the earth, -  and it grieved him at his heart.
*****
Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?
Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?
**
And the Lord God planted a garden east-ward in Eden; and there he put the man - whom he had formed.
*
And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
And the man said, The work-man whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
*
And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me an-other seed instead of Abel, - whom Cain slew.
**
And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created - from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made - them.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
