Judgement Day

The children

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow - thou shalt bring forth children;
and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it - all the days of thy life;

And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years:
and he begat sons and daughters:

And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Enos lived after - he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Cainan lived after - he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Mahalaleel lived after - he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Jared lived after - he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Enoch walked with God after - he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not;  -for - God took RAheme.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament - from the waters which were above the firmament:
and it was so.

And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

And Methuselah - lived after - he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, - and begat a son:
*****
For by them - judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
With clouds he covereth the light; - and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
*****
Then he sheweth - them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

*****
The noise there-of sheweth concerning it, the cattle also - concerning the vapour.
*****
And he called his name No-ah, saying, This same shall com-fort us concerning our work - and toil - of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.
*****
Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply - my days as the sand
Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand. My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay - all night – up-on my branch
As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also - he will deliver it; and passing over - he will preserve it.
*****
Turn ye unto him from whom the children - of Israel have deeply revolted.

*****
And Lamech - and begat a son:
*****

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

That the sons of God - saw the daughters of - men - that they were fair;
*****
These are the generations - of - the heavens and -of - the earth - when - they were created, - in the day that the Lord God made - the earth and the heavens,

There-fore shall a man leave - his father - and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
*****
And the days of Adam -and he begat sons and daughters:
And Seth lived after he begat Enos -and begat sons and daughters:
And Enos lived after - he begat Cainan -and begat sons and daughters:
  And Cainan lived after - he begat Mahalaleel - and begat sons and daughters:
  And Mahalaleel lived after - he begat Jared - and begat sons and daughters:
  And Jared lived after - he begat Enoch -and begat sons and daughters:
  And Enoch walked with God after - he begat Methuselah -, and begat sons and daughters:
*****

and they took them wives of all which they chose.

And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived,  - her mistress - was despised in her eyes.

*****
Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
*****

And Sarai said unto Abram, - My wrong be upon thee: I have given my - maid into thy bosom;
and when she saw - that she - had conceived, - I - was despised in her eyes: the  - Lord judge between - me and thee.

And Jacob said, -Swear to me - this day; and he sware un-to him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
Then Jacob - gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat - and drink, and rose up, and went - his way:
thus Esau - despised - his birthright.

Therefore as the fire devoure-th the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, - so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

And he said, - Lord God, where by shall - I know - that I shall inherit it?
*****
Now there-fore take, I pray thee, - thy weapons, - thy quiver - and thy bow, and go out to the field, and - take meso-me venison;
And - make me - savoury meat, such as I love, - and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee be-fore - I die.
*****
And Rebekah spake unto Jacob - her son, saying, - Behold, - I heard - thy father speak
*****
And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, - I know not:
thus Esau - despised - his birthright.

*****
saying, - Behold, - I heard - thy father speak
unto Esau - thy brother, saying,
Bring me venison, and make me - savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee be-fore the Lord - be-fore - my death.
*****
Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him,
so did he.
*****

Now there-fore, - my son, - obey my voice according to that which I command - thee.
Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence - two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth:
And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee be-fore his death.
*****

And he said unto him, Take me - an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

And he - took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one - against an-other: but - the birds - divided he not.
*****
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the -open firmament of heaven.
*****
And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

There-fore is the anger of the Lord kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them,
*****
. . . which the waters brought forth abundantly, -after - their kind, and every winged fowl - after his kind: and God saw - that it was good.
*****

and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger - is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay there-on:
*****
And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
*****
And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the mid-wife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, - saying, - This came out first.
  And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, - behold, - his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: there-fore his name was called RAheme.

There-fore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
And he shall break it as the breaking of the potter's vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall - not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.
rod
(rod)n. A stick or bundle of sticks or switches used to give punishment by whipping. Punishment; correction. 4. A scepter, staff, or wand symbolizing power or authority. 5. Power or dominion, especially of a tyrannical nature: "under the rod of a cruel slavery"

And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from be-fore it.
*****
And the serpent said unto the work-man, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat there-of, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, - - knowing good and evil.

For thus saith the - Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; - In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence - shall be - your strength: and ye - would not.

Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: - Am I - my brother's keeper?
*****
There-fore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver - after this sort.
*****
But who - am I, and what is my people, - that we should be able to offer so willingly  after  this sort?
for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
  For we are strangers before - thee, - and so-journers, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
Woe to the land shadow-ing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
  That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, - even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, - saying, - Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hither-to; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled
*****
And Ad-ah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
God shall en-large Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.

But ye said, No; for we will flee up-on horses; there-fore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
And there-fore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious un-to you, and there-fore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
*****
No man can serve two masters: for either he will - hate the one, - and love the other; - or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
Ye can-not serve God - and mammon.
*****
then your eyes shall be opened,
and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.

You and Your

And God said, -Behold, - I have given you every herb bearing seed,

And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.
*****

And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishesof - the sea;

into your hand - are they delivered.

And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man;

And I, - behold, - I establish - my covenant with you, - and with your seed - after - you;
And ye shall circumcise the flesh of - your - fore-skin;
and it shall be a token of the covenant - betwixt me and you.

mam-mal
 (maml)n. Any of various warm-blooded vertebrate animals of the class Mammalia, including human beings, characterized by a covering of hair on the skin and, in the female, milk-producing mammary glands for nourishing the young.[From Late Latin mammalis, of the breast, from Latin mamma, breast.
And I say unto you, Make to your-selves friends of the mammon - of - unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

If there-fore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
And the Pharisees al-so, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
be-hold
(bi-hold)v. be-held (-held). be-hold-ing, be-holds.v. tr. 1.   To perceive by the visual faculty; see: beheld a tiny figure in the distance. To perceive through use of the mental faculty; - comprehend: "Behold the man of the future"
And they said one to another, - Behold, - this dreamer cometh. - Come now there-fore, - and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

If ye be willing - and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse - and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
Are we not - counted of him strangers? for he hath sold us, and hath quite devouredal-so - our money.
For all the riches which God hath taken from - our father, ---- that is ours, - and our children's:
now - then, what-so-ever God hath said unto thee, do.
