Four hundred years of the Abram III

Chapter VI

And Abram was very rich in cattle,
in silver,
and in gold.
And he went on his journeys - from the south even to Bethel,
***
He was a mighty hunter - before the Lord: w
here-fore it is said,
Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel,
***
unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning,
between Bethel and Hai;
***
Every beast,
every creeping thing,
and every fowl,
and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth,
after their kinds,
went forth out of the ark.
And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord;
and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl,
and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
***
Unto the place of the altar,
which he had made there at the first:
and there Abram called on the name of the Lord.

Put On Thy garments III

RA
Now all this was done,
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet,
***
And the damsel was very fair to look upon,
a virgin,
neither had any man known her:
and she went down to the well,
and filled her pitcher,
and came up.
***
And,
behold,
thou shalt conceive in thy womb,
and bring forth a son,
and shalt call his name EMMANUEL.

He shall be great,
and shall be called the Son of the Highest:
and the Lord God ISamuel shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever;
and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Then said My unto the angel,
How shall this be,
seeing I know not a man?
***
saying,
Behold,
a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call his name Emmanuel,
which being interpreted is,
God with us.

So God created man (a.k.a. Law) - in his own image,
in the image of God created he him;
male and female created he them.
***
and Rebekah his wife conceived.
And the children struggled together within her;
***
upon thy belly shalt thou go,
and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
***

and she said,
If it be so,
why am I thus?
And she went to inquire of the Lord.
And the Lord said unto her,

Two nations are in thy womb,
and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels;

***
Now there was long war between the house of Saul - and the house of David:
but David waxed stronger and stronger,
and the house of Saul waxed weaker - and weaker.
***
Upright men shall be astonied at this,
and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
The righteous also shall hold on his way,
and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger - and stronger.
***
and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
**
Then Joseph being raised - from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him,
and took unto him his wife:
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son:
and he called his name EMMANUEL.
***
Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law,
or the prophets:
I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily
I say unto you,

Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law,
till all be fulfilled.
***
And thou shalt make holy garments for Emmanuel  thy brother for glory and for beauty.

And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise-hearted,
whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom,
that they may make Emmanuel's garments to consecrate him,
that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
And these are the garments. . .
