Now

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God,
and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
**
How our fathers went down into Egypt,
and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time;
and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers:
*
When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it,
thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe against them:
for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege:
Only the trees which thou knowest that they be not trees for meat, - thou shalt destroy and cut them down;
and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh war with thee, until it be subdued.
*
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
*
Wherefore I say unto you,

All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
*
And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons,
he gathered up his feet into the bed,
and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.
*
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man,
it shall be forgiven him:
but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him,
neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good;
or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt:
for the tree is known by his fruit.
**
Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
These are the beasts which ye shall eat:

Law

As for the likeness of their faces,

**
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden;
and from thence it was parted,
and became into four heads.
**
As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man,
and the face of a lion, on the right side:
and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
**
face of a lion
*
Judah is a lion's whelp:
from the prey,
my son,
thou art gone up:
he stooped down,
he couched as a lion,
and as an old lion;
who shall rouse him up?
**
Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions:
yea,
they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea:
and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
*
and the face of a lion,
on the right side:

***
And he put five bases on the right side of the house,

and five on the left side of the house:
and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward over against the south.

***
The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
**
and they four had the face of an ox on the left side;
**
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
**
they four also had the face of an eagle.
**
And she again bare his brother Abel.
And Abel was a keeper of sheep, . . .
. . . And Abel,
he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
**
My sheep wandered through all the mountains,
and upon every high hill:

yea,

my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth,
and none did search or seek after them.
Therefore, ye shepherds,
hear the word of the Lord;

Ra

As I live, saith the Lord God, ISamuelyeaon, surely because my flock became a prey,
and my flock became meat to every beast of the field,
because there was no shepherd,
neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves,
and fed not my flock;

Therefore, O ye shepherds,
hear the word of the Lord;
Ra
Thus saith the Lord God; ISamuelyea
Behold,
I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand,
and cause them to cease from feeding the flock;
neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth,
that they may not be meat for them.
For thus saith the Lord God; ISamuelyeaOn
Behold,
I,
even I,
will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered;
so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
And I will bring them out from the people,
and gather them from the countries,
and will bring them to their own land,
and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
I will feed them in a good pasture,
and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be:
there shall they lie in a good fold,
and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
I will feed my flock,
and I will cause them to lie down,
saith the Lord God.

Laws Justice Returns to the Garden

 And when the sun was going down,
a deep sleep fell upon Abram;
and,
lo,

an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
And he said unto Abram,

Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs,
and shall serve them;
and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
And also that nation,
whom they shall serve,
will I judge:
and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

In Africa,
Obama says he thinks he could win a third term

During a speech to the African Union Tuesday, President Obama joked that he could win a third term if he wanted to.

"It has been an extraordinary privilege for me to serve as the President of the United States. I cannot imagine a greater honor or a more interesting job. I love my work. But under our Constitution, I cannot run again," the president said. "I actually think I'm a pretty good president. I think if I ran I could win, but I can't under our constitution, I cannot run again," he said to laughter and applause.

The president isn't always so cavalier about the prospect of another four years in office. At a fundraiser last week, he said, "I will not be on the ballot again, and my wife is super happy about that."

At the speech to the African Union, Mr. Obama was poking fun at leaders in Africa who stay once their term limits have expired, a phenomenon he said "I do not understand."

Obama urges African leaders to uphold human rights

"I'll be, I'll be honest with you, I'm looking forward to life after being president. I won't have such a big security detail all the time. It means I can go take a walk. I can spend time with my family. I can find other ways to serve. I can visit Africa more often," the president said.
"The point is I don't understand why people want to stay so long, especially when they've got a lot of money."

While the line drew little reaction from the front of the hall, where leaders were seated, it got a huge round of applause from many of the spectators in the back.
