Sermon on the Mount III

Salvation

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he RA also is become - my salvation.

After this - opened Job - his mouth, and cursed his day.

And God blessed them, - saying, -

And he opened - his mouth, and - taught them, - saying,

They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I - commanded them:
They - turn - the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth - hide themselves together.

The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes there-of: - for ye have eaten up the vine-yard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

Blessed - are the poor in spirit:

Only here-in will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.
Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of theirs be ours? only let us consent unto them, - and they will dwell - with us.

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The spirit of the Lord God ISamuelyeaon-AmAllah  is upon me; because the Lord RA hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he RA hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Blessed are they that mourn:

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

for - they shall be comforted.

The meek - also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Is-ra-el.

For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:

Blessed are the meek:
her-i-tage
(heri-tij)n. 1. Property that is or can be inherited; an inheritance. 2. Something that is passed down from preceding generations; a tradition. 3. The status acquired by a person through birth; a birthright: a heritage of affluence and social position.[Middle English, from Old French, from eritier, heir, from Medieval Latin hereditarius, from Latin, inherited. See HEREDITARY.]

Thus saith the Lord RA, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves.
They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he - RA that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he RA guide them.
And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.
Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sin-im.

for they shall inherit the earth.

They shall not hunger - nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he RA that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he RA guide them.

Blessed are - they which do hunger - and thirst after righteousness:
And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

for they shall be filled.

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, - none considering that the righteous is taken away - from the evil to come.

Blessed are the merciful:
ob-tain
(b-tan, ob-)v. ob-tained, ob-tain-ing, ob-tains.v. tr. To succeed in gaining possession of as the result of planning or endeavor; acquire.v. intr. 1. To be established, accepted, or customary: "standards, proprieties that no longer obtain"

For the Lord will have mercy - on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, - and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

for - they shall obtain mercy.

My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids is the shadow of death; Not for any injustice in mine hands: - also my prayer is pure.

Blessed are the pure in heart:
And though after - my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not an-other; though my reins be consumed within me.

for they shall see God.

Or let him take hold of my strength, that he RA may make peace with me;
and he RA shall make peace with me.

Blessed are the peacemakers:

But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

for they shall be called  the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were be-fore you.

Sermon on the Mountain II

Teach
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence - it was parted, and became in-to four heads.

Simeon and Levi - are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
O my soul, come not - thou into their secret; unto their assembly, - mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger - they slew a man, and in theirself-will - they digged down a wall.

Cursed be their anger, - for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide - them in Jacob, - and scatter them - in Israel.

left2
(left)v. Past tense and past participle of leave1.
So the Lord scattered them-  abroad - from thence upon the face of all the earth: - and they - left off - to build the city.

And going - on - from thence, he saw other -two brethren,

Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, - m-y the Levites – redeem - at any time.

And if a man - purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubile: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are - their possession - among the children of Is-ra-el.

the son of Zebedee, and his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending - their nets; and he - called them.

The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges - thereof; if not, where, and who is he? Now - my days are - swifter than a post: they flee away, - they see no good. - They are passed away as the swift ships:

And they immediately left the ship - and their father, - and followed him.

Then shall the lambs feed - after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.

There-fore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwell-est in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian:
he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the - manner of Egypt.

And RAheme went about all Galilee, teaching in - their synagogues, - and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, - and healing all - manner of sickness - and all manner of disease among the people.

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

And his - fame - went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken - with divers - diseases - and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

*****
Then Zipporah - took a sharp stone, and cut off the fore-skin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.
*****

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of de-cision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of de-cision.
The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, - and from beyond Jordan.

And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there - builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.

And he re-moved from thence unto a mountain on the east - of Bethel, - and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord.

And seeing the multitudes, he went up - into a mountain: and when he was set, - his disciples - came unto him:

After this opened Job - his mouth, and cursed his day.

And he opened - his mouth, and taught them,
