by giving him a double portion of all

his strength;

right of the firstborn

my skin worms destroy this body,

reins be consumed within me.
But ye should
say,
Why
persecute we him,
seeing
the
root of the matter is found in me?
Be
ye
afraid of the sword:

wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword,
that ye may
know there is a judgment.

when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another:

verily I say unto you,
Ye shall not have gone
over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy;

Sanctify
the Lord of hosts himself;
and let him be your fear,
and let him be your dread.
And he shall be for a sanctuary;
but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel,

a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
And many among them shall stumble,
and fall, and be broken,
and be snared,
and be taken.
Bind
up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

rebel not ye against the Lord,

defence is departed from

The
people that walked
in darkness have seen a great light:

that dwell in the land
of the shadow of death,
upon them hath the light shined.
Thou
hast multiplied the nation,
and not increased the joy:
they
joy before thee according to the joy in harvest,
and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

What I tell you in darkness, that speak
ye in light:

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower,
whose top may reach unto heaven;

what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

And fear not them which kill
the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
